Hello, welcome to the Math Advice Bot (MAB)! Starting university can be exciting, but selecting the right maths units, and figuring out what support you might need to meet the assumed knowledge of a unit might seem overwhelming. MAB is here to simplify this process by providing personalised advice based on your mathematical background and degree aspirations. This bot can advise you on choosing first-year maths units for majors/minors offered in the Bachelor of Economics at the University of Sydney, along with any maths support you might need.

The four majors/minors are Econometrics, Economics, Environmental, Agricultural & Resource Economics (EARE), and Financial Economics.

This bot draws upon information from resources on the Maths Learning Support website, including the Support Roadmaps, Unit of Study Handbook, and the Learning Hub website. It is important to check the advice given for accuracy against the official documentation. If unsure, please contact the academic advisor of your School.
